Challenge: The Government of the Balearic Islands required efficient maintenance and continuous updating of various critical applications for managing social rent, deposit administration, and assessment of financial aid applications for first-home rentals. These applications, essential for the well-being of citizens and the efficient functioning of public services, needed to be maintained following the development standards of the DGMAD/DGTIC and ensuring integration with the Sistra telematics platform.

Implemented Solution

Overview: Arteco Consulting SL took on the responsibility of maintaining and evolving this set of critical applications, hosted on JBoss servers within the infrastructure of the Government of the Balearic Islands. The work involved not only technical maintenance and security updates but also the implementation of functional improvements to adapt to new needs and legislation, maintaining uninterrupted and efficient operation.

Technologies Used: The management of these applications was carried out in a JBoss environment, complying with the development standards established by the DGMAD/DGTIC. Deep integration with the Sistra platform was ensured, facilitating digital interaction between citizens and public administration regarding social rent procedures and financial aid.

Key Features: This project stood out for its comprehensive approach to the maintenance of critical systems for the social housing sector, addressing everything from bug fixes to the implementation of new functionalities. Integration with telematics procedure systems represented significant added value, significantly improving the accessibility and efficiency of public services offered to citizens.

Results: The project's execution ensured the continuity and continuous improvement of social rent applications, deposit management, and financial aid assessment, significantly contributing to the efficiency and transparency of these critical services for the population of the Balearic Islands. The improvement in the management and digital processing of these services has resulted in increased satisfaction among citizens, as well as optimization of administrative resources.

Conclusions

Collaboration with the Government of the Balearic Islands in maintaining these critical applications underscores Arteco Consulting SL's ability to offer high-impact technological solutions in the public sector. This project demonstrates Arteco's commitment to the continuous improvement of public services through technology, ensuring that critical systems not only remain operational and secure but also evolve to meet the changing needs of administration and citizens.
