Challenge: A prominent hotel chain needed to develop a reservation management platform for its hotel restaurants that would not only handle internal reservations but also synchronize availability with TheFork, thereby increasing the reach and visibility of its establishments. The system needed to be robust, scalable, and provide high availability to handle a large volume of reservations while ensuring data integrity and real-time synchronization.

Implemented Solution

General Description: Arteco Consulting SL created a comprehensive solution based on Spring Boot for the backend, with user interfaces developed in React. The platform utilizes PostgreSQL as the database management system, complemented by distributed caching systems like Redis and Mongo to optimize performance and scalability. The infrastructure was deployed on Kubernetes, enabling efficient resource management and high system availability. Continuous monitoring and alert systems were implemented to ensure data integrity and effective reservation synchronization between the internal platform and TheFork.

Technologies Used: The system architecture relied on Spring Boot for the backend, leveraging its flexibility and power for developing complex applications. React was used for frontend development, providing a smooth and responsive user experience.
